Baked Rosogolla

Ingredients :
Tinned Rossogolla : 8 nos.
Condensed Milk : 250 ml.
Egg : 2 (whites) not the yolks please...
Sugar : 2 Tsp.
Saffron : 2 pinch.
Cherries : For Garnishing.
Nutmeg Powder: 1 Pinch.
Method :
Arrange the Rosogollas neatly in a well greased baking tray.
- Mix the saffron strands in the condensed milk.
- Pour this mixture evenly on the rosogollas.
- They will be partly covered in this mixture.
- Beat the eggwhites,nutmeg powder and sugar up to a stiff consistency ( Known also as an Italian Meringue). Pour this over the baking tray.
- Now Bake in the oven for about 3minutes and put under the grill for about 1/2 a minute.
